SPOT GLOSS
Spot Gloss UV varnishing is a print-finishing technique where a clear, high-gloss ultraviolet (UV)-cured coating is applied only to selected areas of a printed piece rather than across the entire surface.
A common example, business cards may have a matte laminated background with Spot Gloss UV applied only to the company logo and name. When light hits the card, the logo appears shiny and stands out against the matte surface.

SPOT MATT
Spot Matte UV varnishing is a print-finishing technique in which a non-glossy (matte) UV-cured coating is applied to specific selected areas of a printed piece rather than to the entire surface.
A common example, brochure cover may have a glossy background with Spot Matte UV applied only to a logo or pattern. The coated areas appear softer and less reflective, creating a distinctive contrast when viewed or touched.

SPOT SATIN
Spot Satin UV varnishing is a print-finishing technique in which a clear UV-cured coating with a satin sheen is applied to selected areas of a printed piece. The satin finish falls between gloss and matte, providing a soft, smooth luster without the high reflectivity of gloss or the flat appearance of matte.
An example would be a packaging box may have a matte laminated surface with Spot Satin UV applied to the product name and graphic elements. The satin-coated areas catch light gently, making them stand out without appearing highly glossy.
